Painfree And Safe Dental Care for You and Your Children
Dr. Ray's gentle technique ensures our patients never know they've received an injection. Injectable anesthetics block nerves that sense pain and may be used in procedures such as filling cavities and preparing teeth for crowns. We want you to be as comfortable as possible and we will send non-narcotic analgesics home with you as needed.
We realize that you as the patient may have concerns about the safety of receiving dental care. We understand your concern and would like share what we do to protect the patient and our staff:
- All instruments that can withstand high heat are steam-sterilized to kill infections bacteria and viruses.
- All instruments not able to withstand high heat (i.e. plastics) are disinfected chemically to kill infectious bacteria and viruses.
- Many items are single-use and are disposed of after each patient. This includes syringes (needles), saliva, ejectors (suction tubes), and gloves.
- Gloves, masks and glasses are worn to prevent transmission of disease.
- All surfaces are chemically disinfected & barrieres are used when possible.
